It gives you an online booking page, intake, deposits, owner messages and vaccination checks in one place. It also accepts Tend Pass, the free pet passport owners carry, so returning pets arrive with their records already filled in.
How does Tend check vaccinations?+
You set your policy, for example C5 for dogs, F3 for cats or Bordetella. When an owner books and shares their records, Tend checks the pet against that policy and flags the booking green, amber or red before the pet reaches your door. Anything Tend cannot confirm is left for your team to review.
How much does Tend Connect cost?+
Tend Connect is A$39 a month for one-person businesses and A$99 a month for teams, plus GST, with everything included in both: bookings, intake, vaccination checks, payments, messaging, occupancy and analytics. No bolt-ons, modules, or surprise extra charges. United States pilots are available by request. Tend Pass is free for pet owners.
Do my customers need to use the Tend app?+
No. Customers can book with your standard online form, no app required. If they have the free Tend Pass, their pet details and verified records prefill the booking and their vaccinations check automatically. Either way you run everything in Tend Connect.
What vaccinations do pets need for boarding or daycare?+
Requirements vary by country, state, venue and vet. Australian venues often ask for C5 for dogs and F3 for cats. United States venues commonly ask for rabies, DAPP/DHPP/DA2PP, Bordetella and FVRCP depending on species and service. This is not veterinary advice. With Tend you set your own policy and every booking is checked against it automatically.

What if a customer is not on Tend yet?+
They can still book. You can request their records as usual, and they are prompted to create a free passport, so the next booking verifies and prefills automatically.
How do I take payment and get paid?+
Connect Stripe in one step during setup. Owners pay when they book and your payouts land straight in your bank account.
How long does setup take?+
