The short answer
Tend is pet-care software built in Australia. Tend Connect gives pet businesses online booking, intake, payments, messaging and automatic vaccination checks in one place. Tend Pass is a free pet health passport owners keep and reuse, so a pet’s records follow them from venue to venue.
Run bookings, intake and payments from one calm screen, with every arrival checked before drop-off.
Your pet’s records in one place. Scan a vet certificate once, share it with any venue in a tap.
How it works
You set the rules once. Tend reads every pet’s records against them and tells you who’s ready. No more squinting at a photo of a 2019 vaccine card.
Choose what each species needs. C5, F3, Bordetella, or your own rules.
Through your booking page, or straight from their free Tend Pass. Intake fills itself.
Green, amber or red before arrival, always with a plain-English reason.
Tend flags records against the rules you set. It doesn’t replace your judgement or your vet’s advice.
Tend Connect
Booking, intake, payments and messages in one place, so nothing lives on a sticky note.
Customers book boarding, daycare, grooming or training themselves. Multiple pets, deposits and balances included. Embed it on your own website.
Medications, allergies, feeding notes and vet details arrive with the booking. Tend Pass holders never retype a thing.
Take payments through Stripe, with payouts to your bank. No Tend fee on top.
Chat with owners right on the booking, not across three inboxes.
Rooms, runs and sessions filling up across the day, week and season.
Running more than one site? Switch between them, or see them all at once. Your team gets access to exactly what they need.
Bookings and revenue trends, ready when you are.

Tend is pet-care software built in Australia. Tend Connect gives boarding kennels, catteries, dog daycares, groomers and dog trainers online booking, intake, payments, messaging and automatic vaccination checks in one place. It pairs with Tend Pass, a free pet health passport owners keep and reuse, so a pet’s records follow them from venue to venue.
Most Australian boarding kennels and daycares ask for a current C5 vaccination for dogs (covering distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, parainfluenza and Bordetella), and many catteries ask for F3 for cats. Each venue sets its own rules, so always check with the venue and your vet. This is general information, not veterinary advice.
Your venue sets its vaccination policy, for example C5 for dogs, F3 for cats, Bordetella, or custom requirements. When an owner books and shares records, Tend checks the pet against that policy and flags the booking green, amber or red before the pet arrives.
No. Customers can book through your standard online booking page without an app. If they have the free Tend Pass, their pet details and records prefill the booking and the vaccination check happens automatically.
Tend Pass is free for pet owners. Tend Connect is A$39 a month for one-person businesses and A$99 a month for teams, plus GST, with every feature included in both. It is free to start with no credit card. Tend charges no fee on payments; standard Stripe fees apply.
With Tend Pass, owners scan their vet records once and share a passport by link or QR code. They choose what to share, and can revoke the link at any time. The venue sees current vaccinations, medications, allergies and feeding notes with the booking.
Tend is built on the Gold Coast, Australia. Tend Connect is live for Australian pet businesses through self-serve signup, and selected United States venues can join a pilot by request. Tend Pass is rolling out in Australia and the United States.
